High-Roof Hiace Chiller Van Rental— for tall chilled loads that won't fit a normal van.

When your cargo stacks high or hangs — catering trays, bakery displays, floral arrangements, garments — a standard chiller van runs out of headroom long before it runs out of floor. The high-roof Toyota Hiace solves that, holding a steady +2°C to +8°C the whole way.

When you need the height

Same cold chain, a lot more headroom

A high-roof Hiace chiller van is exactly what it sounds like: a Toyota Hiace-style refrigerated van with a raised roof, holding the same +2°C to +8°C fresh-chill band as a standard chiller van — but with the vertical clearance to take loads a normal van can't. If you've ever had to lay a rack flat, split a delivery in two, or leave stock behind because it wouldn't stand up inside the van, this is the vehicle that fixes it.

It's the go-to for cargo that's tall, stacked or hanging rather than heavy: multi-tier catering trolleys, boxed patisserie displays, buckets of cut flowers, rails of chilled garments, stacked beverage crates. You get the floor space of a van plus the height to use it properly — without stepping up to a truck you don't need.

Operator insight

The high-roof’s advantage is vertical, so how you load it matters. Stacking to the roof is tempting, but cold air needs to circulate over the top of the load or the upper layer drifts warmer than the reading suggests. We pre-cool the box and load with an airflow gap up top — so the tallest tray is as cold as the bottom one.

FAQ

Chiller van rental — your questions answered

High-roof Hiace chiller van FAQs

What is a high-roof Hiace chiller van?

It’s a Toyota Hiace-style refrigerated van with a raised roof, holding +2°C to +8°C. The extra interior height gives far more vertical clearance than a standard chiller van — room for tall, hanging or stacked chilled cargo that a normal van simply can’t take.

High-roof Hiace chiller van rental starts from AED 290 per day, with weekly and monthly rates available. The rate includes a cold-chain-trained driver, GPS tracking and an HACCP certificate.

When your cargo stacks high or hangs — catering trays, bakery and patisserie displays, floral arrangements, hanging garments, or stacked beverage crates. A standard chiller van runs out of headroom long before it runs out of floor; the high-roof solves that.

A steady +2°C to +8°C — the fresh-chill band for produce, dairy, catering, flowers and beverages. For frozen cargo you need a freezer van instead.

Yes — a cold-chain-trained, UAE-licensed driver is included as standard, along with GPS tracking and an HACCP certificate. Self-drive is available on longer hires subject to documentation.

Tall and high-volume chilled loads: catering trays, cakes and patisserie displays, floral arrangements, hanging garments, stacked crates and bulky boxed goods — all held at +2°C to +8°C.
