These terms govern your use of our website and your rental of vehicles and services from Chiller Vans for Rental. Please read them carefully — by requesting a quote, making a booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by them.

1. Introduction & acceptance

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are entered into between you ("Customer", "you") and Chiller Vans for Rental ("Company", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in the United Arab Emirates with trade licence number [TRADE LICENCE NO.] and registered address at [FULL REGISTERED ADDRESS, Dubai, UAE].

By requesting a quotation, confirming a booking, or using our website or services, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Definitions

"Vehicle" means any chiller, freezer, refrigerated, pickup, commercial or cargo vehicle we provide.
"Rental Period" means the agreed period for which the Vehicle and/or service is provided.
"Booking" means a confirmed order for a Vehicle or service.
"Cargo" means the goods transported using our Vehicle.
"Driver" means a driver supplied by the Company where the rental is with-driver.

3. Our services

We provide refrigerated (chiller, freezer and adjustable) and commercial dry-cargo vehicle rental, typically with a trained driver, across Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and the wider UAE. Service details, vehicle availability and specifications are confirmed at the time of booking and may vary by vehicle.

4. Bookings & quotations

Quotations are provided based on the information you supply (route, dates, cargo type and vehicle required) and are valid for [e.g. 7 days] unless stated otherwise. A booking is only confirmed once we have accepted it and, where applicable, received any required deposit. We reserve the right to decline a booking at our discretion.

5. Pricing & payment

Prices are quoted in UAE Dirhams (AED) and, unless stated otherwise, are inclusive of driver and GPS and [inclusive / exclusive] of VAT at the prevailing rate. Any rates published on our website are indicative; your final price is the amount confirmed in your booking.

7. Cancellation & changes

If you need to cancel or change a booking, please notify us as early as possible. Our cancellation policy is:

[No-show or same-day cancellation]: [up to the full rental value may be charged].

We may cancel or substitute a Vehicle of equivalent specification where necessary (for example, due to a breakdown), and will not be liable beyond the value of the affected booking.

8. Customer responsibilities

You agree to:

Provide accurate booking information, including cargo type, weight and any special handling needs;
Ensure the Cargo is lawful and properly packaged for transport;
Not overload the Vehicle beyond its stated capacity;
Not transport prohibited, hazardous or illegal goods without our prior written agreement;
Provide safe and lawful access for loading and unloading;
Where a self-drive rental is agreed, hold a valid UAE driving licence and comply with all traffic laws — you are responsible for fines and Salik incurred during your Rental Period.

9. Our responsibilities

We will use reasonable care and skill to provide a clean, roadworthy and (where refrigerated) pre-cooled Vehicle that meets the agreed specification, with a licensed driver where the rental is with-driver. We aim to meet agreed timings but do not guarantee specific arrival times where factors outside our control (such as traffic or weather) intervene.

10. Cargo & cold chain

For refrigerated rentals, we maintain the agreed temperature range during transport and, on request, provide temperature logs and HACCP documentation. However, cold-chain integrity also depends on factors within your control, including correct pre-conditioning of the Cargo before loading, packing that allows airflow, and minimising door-open time during multi-stop deliveries.

We are not responsible for spoilage or deterioration caused by Cargo that was not at the correct temperature when loaded, improper packaging, incorrect customer instructions, or delays caused by the Customer.

11. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with any booking shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that booking. We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including loss of profit, loss of business or loss of goodwill.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it cannot lawfully be excluded under UAE law.

12. Insurance & damage

Our Vehicles carry insurance as required by UAE law [describe coverage: e.g. third-party / comprehensive]. Cargo is [not insured by us unless separately agreed in writing — customers are advised to arrange their own goods-in-transit cover]. For self-drive rentals, you are responsible for any damage to the Vehicle during your Rental Period up to the applicable [insurance excess of AED ___], and for any loss arising from misuse or breach of these Terms.

13. Force majeure

We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, road closures, accidents, government action, mechanical failure, or supply disruptions. 14. Intellectual property
